Karen was born and raised in Chicago but has lived in Portage for the last 17 years. She earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts at the University of Illinois in 1993. She began working at Kalamazoo Animal Hospital as a receptionist in November, 2015.
Karen has always had a passion for animals and previously worked for a dog rescue group.
She and her husband have three wonderful daughters, two dogs, and two cats. Her free time is spent doing family activities, playing with the dogs, and taking walks on trails.
