Shana was born and raised in Michigan, with the exception of 2 years she spent in Florida as a child. She has always had a passion for animals and often jokes that she prefers them to humans. She attended Ross Medical
Education Center in 2014 for certification as an Approved Veterinary Assistant when her son, Andrew, began kindergarten. She joined our team in September with 8 years experience in vet med and hopes to, someday, open a rescue facility for all animals.
During her free time she can usually be found wandering through the woods with her dog, Cash, or spending time with her son. In addition to her dog, Shana has 2 cats and a turtle.
